ARC provides services directly to advertisers and agencies to improve the management of marketing communications. This includes our remuneration benchmarking service Custom One, together with separate services to benchmark Payment by Results (PBR) schemes and media agency agreements. We also offer our client/agency 360 relationship evaluation (creative, media, PR) system called CARE which we have used with many clients for many years. Our new SMCR Consult is a service to assist marketers improve the structure, alignment and co-ordination of the marketing communications resources. All of these services are based on empirical evidence, are rigorous in scope & analysis, and are actionable by clients and agencies.
Payment by Results
ARC has published the second dedicated guide to PBR, 10 years after the first edition. Payment by Results II is an indispensable reference for everyone involved in analysing and negotiating agency remuneration. Both clients and agencies should be seeking the best ways to achieve a win/win situation. What are other companies doing? How can we learn from their example? What are the benchmarks? What is the evidence on what works? This report should have a catalytic effect in helping all parties achieve even more effective agreements and will provide much inspiration. The original ARC/ISBA/IPA PBR guidelines have now been updated by ARC to reflect the latest learning from Payment by Results II
